Complete manpower/capital/tooling estimates and feasibility analysis for new product quotations to customers.
Responsible for capital equipment estimates for new product quotes and customer requested volume/engineering changes. Created manufacturing plans and layouts for potential new products. Work with equipment and prototype suppliers, to estimate lead time and costs to launch new products requiring expanded capacity and new technologies.
Rotated to all major departments in facility, working on small scope improvement projects. Spent majority of time with operators and technicians learning and troubleshooting the process and equipment in each area of the facility.
Assisted Professor Vondra in the Tech Foundry with laboratory activates, and projects involving the foundry. Responsible for preparing foundry for lab activities, and maintaining a safe and productive environment during lab hours
Work with interdisciplinary teams, utilizing traditional businesses/manufacturing methods and new technologies (3D printing, Oculus Rift) on University assigned projects. Scope of projects range from traditional media/advertising to virtual reality.
