  • Fixed Assets, Banking, and General Ledger US GAAP. Working as a team lead and leading a team of 20 members. I was taking care of fixed assets, prepaid, and project accounting activities, as well as month-close activities. Below are the roles and responsibilities.
  • Taking care of the review part of all the activities performed by team members (fixed assets transactions, manual MJE review, and reconciliations). Providing end-to-end support for fixed assets. Client handling – BAU calls and escalation management. Creating and handling all the process documentation, reviewing, and updating it periodically. Suggesting, reviewing, and implementing various process improvements to minimize man-hours. Taking care of the monthly dashboard, PSR (Project Status Report). Process KPIs, prepare metrics, and submit them to management. Taking care of banking, journal entries, R2R, general accounting, reconciliation, variance analysis, and month-close activities (FX revaluation run, depreciation run, period open close, etc.). Intercompany: Worked as a SME and led a team of five members in intercompany and took care of the below-mentioned activities. Posting various transactions between the group companies in SAP (intercompany transactions). Intercompany reconciliation (account reconciliation) is done monthly. Taken care of the settlement (netting) between the group companies on a monthly basis. Reviewing and updating SOPs periodically. Suggesting, reviewing, and implementing various process improvements to cut off man-hours. Extracting the report at the month-end to identify and analyze mismatches. Payroll: Worked as a senior associate on the payroll team and took care of the activities mentioned below. Posting various transactions related to payroll inputs from onshore in SAP. Preparing account reconciliation monthly, on time. Initiate bi-weekly payroll run in the SAP application. Reviewing and updating SOPs periodically. Taking care of quality check & training needs for the team regarding Reinstatement Premium.
