Clinicopathological Study with Special Emphasis on the Identification of Therapeutic Biomarkers in Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma Through Integrated Analysis of Bulk RNA-Seq Data 2025 – 2026

• Conducted a clinicopathological and molecular investigation of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) to identify potential therapeutic biomarkers.
• Performed transcriptomic data analysis and interpretation using publicly available bulk RNA-seq datasets for biomarker discovery.
• Validated candidate biomarkers using RT-qPCR and Western blotting (ongoing)
• Correlated molecular findings with clinicopathological parameters and contributed to scientific manuscript preparation.

Characterization of Biofilm-Forming Genes (esp, efaR, gelE) of Enterococcus faecalis in and Around Chennai January 2023 – June 2023

• Investigated the prevalence of biofilm-associated virulence genes (esp, efaR, and gelE) in Enterococcus faecalis isolates obtained from environmental samples collected in and around Chennai.
• Performed microbial isolation, DNA extraction, PCR amplification, and gel electrophoresis for molecular characterization of target genes.
• Analyzed the distribution of virulence factors associated with biofilm formation and pathogenicity.
• Interpreted experimental findings and prepared a scientific project report.
