As an Adjunct Chemistry Faculty in the Department of Chemistry, and a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Biological Sciences, Tennessee State University, I specialize in creating environments that promote active inquiry and foster individual growth. Collaborating with fellow faculty members, I develop purposeful lesson plans and work towards achieving learning goals. Accurately measuring student progress through assignments, exams, and standardized assessment tools as a key aspect of my teaching approach. With clear communication skills and an advanced understanding of university-level standards, I am able to effectively implement teaching strategies. My enthusiasm lies in working with students in higher education and conducting research in Chemistry, biochemistry, and biological sciences. With a result-driven mindset, I prioritize organization, proactivity, punctuality, and maintain a team-oriented mentality. With extensive experience in laboratory instruction and teaching university-level undergraduate General Chemistry courses, I skillfully utilize technology to enhance learning and engagement. I am Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, I am resourceful and skilled in laboratory techniques and safety procedures. Adaptable to diverse learning needs, I am proficient in various teaching methods.
