• Supports key areas of the TennCare and Contractor’s Dental Home Strategy, monitoring utilization and prioritizing increased utilization of high-value preventative dental services, jointly designing the scope of responsibilities and high-value activities with TennCare.
• Implements the overall Dental Home Strategy, including supporting both member and provider outreach, coaching, and education.
• Maintains and updates the Patient Centered Dental Home sections of the provider manual, as well as references within the member handbook.
• Monitors and analyzes reports regarding the Patient Centered Dental Home program. Proactively identifies opportunities and barriers to patient dental utilization.
• Develops ad hoc reporting for Dental Home strategy independently, or in collaboration with internal reporting teams, for internal and external use.
• Directs tracking of provider terminations and reassigns members to another Dental Home, as necessary. Reassigns members upon request from TennCare, providers, MCOs, or DDA, as well as at member request through automated systematic processes, or manually, as necessary.

• Providing formal instruction to students in a classroom/Clinical environment using various teaching methodologies such as lectures, discussions, role play, and demonstrations.
• Applying the adult learning concepts to non-traditional adult students using the adult learning model and principles.
• Responsible for introducing the basic concepts, functions, applications, and processes to ensure students gain a better understanding of the various aspects in dental hygiene theory.
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to equipping students with the required Clinical skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful leaders in the healthcare profession.
• Providing objective and subjective feedback regarding student performance.
• Communicating proactively with campus administration regarding student issues.
• Cultivated an open, approachable, and enjoyable learning experience that encourages student interest and mastery of the material.

• Utilized Intraoral Digital Scanning Technology: (Carestream Dental CS 3600 & Itero) and CAD/CAM Software - Meshmixer
• Delivering & Adjusting Sleep and TMD Appliances
• Fabrication of provisional acrylic dental appliances
• B2C experience: specifically in offering Dental products and services.
