  • My role as a Candidate Manager I carry multiple responsibilities as a part of the Delivery Business Cycle (DBC).
  • The first step of DBC process D1 which is to understand the requirement provided by the stakeholders.
  • Breakdown the combination of skillsets that the stakeholders are expecting from a candidate.
  • Gaining a basic knowledge on the purpose of the skill/tool and understand how is it going to impact the stakeholders.
  • Research on the various combinations of skill sets possible through self research.
  • Connect with existing Technical Employees and gain a better understanding about the skill set.
  • After a complete understanding of the requirement will begin with the D2 - Sourcing strategies.
  • The first step I take is to reach out to existing Techinical Employees and generate referrals, Search on internal HRMS for the expected skillset.
  • Once a relevant profile is found will start the highlighter test and relate it with the JD and understand how is it aligned together.
  • The next step is to call the candidate do a complete a candidate call and understand the current role of the candidate and also understand their aspirations and what their expectation towards the next opportunity, understand their decision making criteria and correlate it with the JD and understand if the candidate would be a right fit for the specific JD or not.
  • After the assessment if the candidate's expectations and skill sets are matching with the JDwill schedule a virtual discussion with the candidate and verify the notes gathered in the telephonic call provide better understanding about TEKsystems and how the candidate's journey will be with TEKsystems , explain more about the opportunity with respect to the client and the team structure and the EVP's of taking up the opportunity.
  • The next stage is D3 where we evaluate the candidate's technical experience with the help of the technical panel and prepare the candidate for the further levels of the interview.
  • The next step is D4 where we present the candidate to the stakeholders with a proper synopsis about the candidate.
  • Post the interview once we receive the feedback from the panel will share the detailed feedback to the candidate.
  • Once the candidate clears the interview will set up a HR discussion with the respective account managers and will initiate the offer release.
  • Post offer follow-up is the most important stage where will be in constant touch with the candidate and keep the candidate engaged and ensure that they join us on the specified date.
  • Once a Candidate is on-boarded they will be addressed as our Technical Employees, and connect with them every month on regular intervals and ensure if they are happy about the opportunity or if they are facing any challenges and understand if there are any red flags. If the TE is facing a constrain will have to resolve it by connecting them with the right person and resolve their query.
  • If the existing project if reaching an end date, then comes the R3 (Retain, Remap and Rehire) where my responsibility is to have a detailed discussion with the TE and revalidate their aspirations and expectations and find the right opportunity for the technical employees within TEKsystems.
