  • At Teleperformance I work with United Healthcare to provide members with any info they need regarding their plan, ordering new cards, finding providers for members, updating their doctor listed in our system, doing coordination of benefits to remove primary insurance that is no longer active, doing billing balances when members are being overcharged, contacting doctors offices and also billing departments for members, checking on prior authorizations from doctors, informing members of tests and surgeries that will be covered or not covered, and many other things pertaining to the member's insurance plan
  • The programs used are Maestro, Facets, Icue, Citrix, and Macess

Medical Screener and Phlebotomist

  • At CSL Plasma, I had to triage donors to determine if they were eligible to donate plasma
  • I would get the weight, height, blood pressure, and hematocrit of each donor as a medical screener
  • I also updated patient accounts and created files for new donors
  • As a phlebotomist, I had to properly complete the venipuncture process so that each donor can have a smooth, painless donation
  • As a machine tech I fixed broken plasmapheresis machines to place them back in service for donation use
  • As a donor support tech, I would monitor donors throughout their donation to make sure they felt ok and also I would take them off the machine when their donation was completed

  • My responsibilities at Maximus were to answer customer calls about their child support cases
  • I would either be speaking to the NCP (Non Custodial Parent) or the CP (Custodial Parent)
  • I could access the payment history on a case, license info, employment history, warrants, court dates, court papers, documents signed by a judge, liens….etc
  • If a NCP or CP had an issue that I could not resolve I would send a referral to their case worker with the issue they needed assistance with and attach their name, number, and email for the case worker to get back in contact with them
