He has produced and directed more than 150 TV commercials since 1983.
He has received over 120 international film awards by directing two Tamil short films, Naanudaimai and Thiravukoll, and a Tamil feature film, Insha Allah.
For more than 20 years, he has been travelling to Goa International Film Festival, Kerala International Film Festival, Chennai International Film Festival, Pune International Film Festival and Bengaluru International Film Festival. He has seen and learned more than 150 world cinemas.
He worked as a leading organizer in the Konangal Film Society, Coimbatore, the Coimbatore Film Society, and the Chennai Independent Film Society.
Currently, he is organising and coordinating a film festival called the Chennai World Cinema Festival.
Based on the above experience, he has been working hard to send Tamil films made to World cinema standards to international film festivals.
Maamanithan [Dir. Seenu Ramasamy], Kadaysi Vivasayi [Dir. Manikandan], Shadow of the Night [Dir. Parthiban], Raavana Kottam [Dir. Vikram Sugumaran], Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir [Venkata Krishna Rohanth], Garki [Dir. Gautham Ramachandran], Karppara [Dir. Vignesh Kumulai ], Visithiran [Dir. M. Padmakumar] and Boat [Dir. Simbu Devan] has submitted over 30 films to international film festivals and received over 200 awards.
This year, he has gotten Tamil films to participate in the 'Film Market', which is part of festivals like the Cannes Film Festival and the Goa Film Festival, and to get commercial sales.
Currently, he is organising and coordinating a film festival called the Chennai World Cinema Festival.
