I am a passionate professional musician, songwriter and producer with the unique and diverse experience set including working in the context of museums, collections, acquisitions and conservation of material remains and art. I am fully engaged in the use of both early and emerging technologies to facilitate deeper understanding of the stories behind our musical endeavors as humans and what it says about our past and our future.
Sourced and acquired important late 18th to mid-19th century portrait miniatures for private and institutional clients worldwide. Performed best-practice conservation, restoration, as well as classification of portrait miniatures for important collections, including MFA Boston, MFA Houston, Harvard Library Collection, and National Portrait Gallery, London. Contributed to the known research canon and discovered several previously unlisted American portrait miniaturists. Gave lectures about the art and history of portrait miniatures.
Worked with numerous retail galleries, such as Phillip Mould Gallery in London, in partnership for research and retail marketing of important pieces. Worked with Alan Derbyshire, head of conservation at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and winner of the Plowden Medal for Art Conservation.
