  • Proposed a vision to Superintendent and the School Board to transform Middle College High to Renaissance High School in spring of 2014 to serve WCS students searching for a unique learning community
  • Launched an out-of-zone, WCS 9-12 high school founded upon pillars of standards-based grading, assessment for learning, project-based learning, and the 21st Century Skills of Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Critical Thinking
  • Established and developed three CTE Creative Academies that each culminate in senior Capstone projects that facilitate students' transition from passion to purpose and launch their trajectory after graduation
  • Created opportunities to engage students in service opportunities and projects with local nonprofits and community agencies.
  • Leveraged 1:1 technology by piloting the first LMS in WCS (Schoology), the Modern Classroom Project, and tools like EdPuzzle, and more recently, AI to improve teaching and learning
