Work History
Tempering Coordinator
1 Year 11 Months- I run a glass tempering line. With 4 people, I take raw untempered glass, temper the glass to certification standards and customers specs. I have to verify and log flatness along with break test to check temper of the glass. Then I make sure it has the correct: glass, paperwork, casing, and separation material.
Cutting Coordinator
2 Years 3 Months- As a coordinator in cutting department, I planned what the cutters would cut for each day. Set up the glass and had the plans ready for the cutters when they arrived to work, through the day I would measure the glass to make sure quality was achieved also setup glass for the cutters to keep a steady pace with no downtime.
CNC Operator
2 Years- On CNC edgers I was responsible for running quality parts to customer request. I maintained desired measurements with calibers and blue prints.
Supervisor
1 Year 11 Months- I was responsible for edging department, I assured all edged or drilled glass was in specification for each customer also assisted in production goals. I was trained on CNC edging machines.
CNC Glass Cutter
3 Years 10 Months- Here I took 72"x84" sheets of glass and programmed customer specific sizes in the computer to be cut then I would cut and retrieve the glass. I had to assure that the glass measurement was within .030 thousandths.
Laborer
3 Years 10 Months- I was certified to weld polyethylene pipe. I worked with a crew to install main gas and service lines. We installed, checked for leaks, and put line in service.
Setup Technician
11 Months- As a setup technician I setup each new job for the next run this consisted of getting the die set in machine, hooking all water, hydraulic, air lines, selecting the right plunger, and assuring everything was safe and working. Taking damaged die to get it fixed in die shop or storing dies in storage area properly.
Die Cast Machine Operator/Setup Tech
2 Years 11 Months- I ran a die cast machine. In doing so I maintained sprayer and ladle to ensure smooth quality castings. Made sure all the parts were complete and not missing or unfilled.
