Hi, This is Brian, and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to introduce myself. I have an outgoing and energetic personality. During student years, I actively participated in various club activities, including model club, Chinese orchestra, chorus, basketball team, billiards club, and reading club. These experiences allowed me to make many like-minded friends, cultivate diverse interests, and develop an independent, proactive, and optimistic outlook on life.
After graduating, I joined TECO as an air conditioning engineer. Despite not having a technical background, I faced initial challenges. However, driven by a strong sense of responsibility and honor, I overcame the technical difficulties. I did successfully assist regional distributors in achieving annual operational targets, earning recognition from customers and superiors.
Later on, due to my interest in humanitarian affairs and public service, I joined an NPO. I worked as an assistant to a legislative representative. During my time as a staff member, I learned about editorial work, mobilization of resources, public services, and legislative assistance. This experience deepened my understanding of grassroots issues and expanded my perspective on life.
Noticing the trend of telecom deregulation, I transitioned to Taiwan Mobile and later became an executive for Motorola distributor, for over 10 years. I excelled in supervising operations for both company-owned and franchise stores in the southern region. I approached my work with dedication and participated in large-scale training and recruitment activities. I also attended multiple telecom exhibitions in Taiwan. Through these experiences, I gained a deep understanding of telecom and service industry management, accumulating substantial experience in middle management roles.
Driven by my interest in the optoelectronic industry, I joined China Picture Tube(CPT), a leading company in the field. I worked as a market analyst in the central business division, focusing on market research for the TV sector within the TFT industry. Simultaneously, I handled key client relationships with major customers such as PHILIPS and AOC. I maintained a responsible and respectful attitude towards colleagues and superiors, continually seeking personal growth. In 2006, I embarked on an EMBA program at the Royal Roads University, Canada, aiming to enhance my knowledge and create a brighter future.
During my studies, I maintained a proactive learning attitude and achieved excellent results. This led to my recognition by Kinpo Group, and I joined the company at the end of 2006. In 2007, I made significant strides in the Indian market, leading departments in marketing, logistics, after-sales service, and engineering. I secured orders from leading local companies like Reliance, TATA, and Spice, achieving outstanding performance. Additionally, I established strong connections within the Indian-Taiwanese business community. Recognized by the Taiwan representative office in India, I founded the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai and served as president for two consecutive terms, gaining practical experience in international trade.
Towards the end of my stay in India, I saw opportunities and decided to venture into entrepreneurship. From importing electronics to introducing Taiwanese food products, and eventually entering the production and supply of plastic raw materials, I embraced challenges. I transformed from an employee to a Taiwanese business owner and successfully adapted to a new role. In 2015, my life underwent a major change. My father passed away in 2004, leaving only my mother and younger brother at home. They were doing well, allowing me to live abroad with peace of mind. However, my mother's sudden, severe illness changed everything. Her health declined rapidly, and she eventually succumbed to the illness. This experience made me rethink my life, prompting my decision to end my overseas life and return to Taiwan.
Back in Taiwan, I collaborated with friends and invested in the energy and environmental industries. While my investments were profitable due to possessing the ability to discern industry trends, yet the unpredictability of human behavior added complexity. These negative experiences encountered various challenges that taught me to appreciate life's ups and downs, face difficulties bravely, and continue striving for improvement.
Compared to many of my peers who remain in the same field, I prioritize personal growth and challenges in work. I am willing to continuously learn about new concepts, products, industries, and trends. I'm open to starting from the ground up, embracing change, and pursuing growth. I believe work is not only about contributing to others but also about realizing my own value. I look forward to contributing to your company's growth, given your emphasis on talent development.
