- Conduct vascular exams, including carotid, superior mesenteric artery, renal artery stenosis, liver Doppler, ABIs, and upper/lower extremity venous and arterial assessments.
- Daily interaction with radiologists to review breast/soft tissue imaging and findings, and provide my professional opinions to the radiologists.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies (breast, lymph node, thyroid, parotid gland) and procedures, including paracentesis.
- Train 3 sonographers to improve efficiency and workflow within the department.
- Serve as student preceptor for Georgia Southern University sonography students, guiding clinical education and hands-on practice in scanning a variety of studies.
