Additionally, as the role works closely with patients personal information, it is the technicians duty to maintain accuracy ensuring HIPPA compliance. We process and resolve insurance claims to guarantee that the patient has the best possible prices and overall experience.

Techs are also required to handle inventory, and to document any changes being made in regards to what is in stock, what needs to be ordered, and what is expired or soon to be.

It is mandatory to communicate professionally with patients, pharmacists, and health care providers. As of the most important things when obtaining this role is the patients, their satisfaction and comfortability is non-negotiable. This occurs when there is hospitality, cleanliness, and efficient service.
