- Ability to understand and command two different computer system set ups for the JD1 and JD2 distilleries
- Efficiently operate all of the working areas of two distilleries.
- For JD1: the fermentation process, yeast room procedures, the charcoal mellowing process and managing the entire workflow from the control room
- For JD2: same as JD1, plus operating the BATCH system, performing additional tasks that come with the JD2 granary.
- Managing grain trucks: communicating with drivers, unloading, sampling and testing incoming grain for quality control. Handling the loadout system for overnight grain transfer truck drivers.
- Training new operators on equipment handling and standard operating procedures. Focused on enhancing team performance and safety awareness.
- Working through troubleshooting issues to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Following all standard operating procedures to ensure consistent product and minimize any downtime that may occur.
