Great Catch Award

I had a patient that had been in the hospital for a bit and they were wanting to transfer the patient to swing bed to receive inpatient physical therapy and I knew something was off with the patient and not ready to start physical therapy until their acute situation was addressed. After communication with the attending physician, more test and blood work were completed and the underlying issue was found and addressed, after treating the patients acute situation, the patient progressively did get better and was able to go home and very much improved.
