My mom works with their organization which led my family and I to volunteer through my church's connections to it. I hosted overnight shelters for people experiencing homelessness. I provided hospitality for overnight guests by preparing meals, setting tables and sleep arrangements, as well as serving the food. I continue to stay active through my school with our community service opportunities where I volunteer at the day shelter where I prepare and serve lunches and self care packs.
