  • Overseeing daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation, I collaborated with a third-party logistics (3PL) company and utilized our warehouse management system (WMS) software to meet our customers’ daily needs. Depending on our busy periods, I managed a staff of 25 to 60 people throughout the year.
  • My primary responsibility was to ensure that my area (HD department) consistently met and exceeded its monthly and yearly goals by 5% to 10% annually.
  • Daily duties included:
  • - Tracking inventory levels and preventing stockouts and deadstock.

  • In this role, the Supervisor managed a team of 150-200 employees, primarily responsible for picking and receiving shipments. They effectively coached employees to achieve 80-100% performance, ensuring efficient and accurate operations. Additionally, the Supervisor implemented safety protocols on a daily basis, planned daily goals based on headcount, trained PMV drivers, and coached them to pick over 650 cases per day. They also supervised a team of 8 drivers within the High Bay Hand Stack Department, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inducted retrieved cartons via RF scanning for picking, pick-packing, processing, shipping, and receiving. Focused on the case lot, returns, and the unload manifest for the shift. Ensured that all order numbers and SKUs were entered into the system.
  • In the shipping department, I ensured that the oncoming shift was prepared with a yard plan and set up for their startup. I also maintained the correct number of associates on each load and ensured that live loads left the DC at its scheduled time, meeting the SLA.
  • In the processing department, I supervised daily production and activity of associates, including flexing associates from one department to the next as needed during regular hours and overtime. I led start-up meetings and outlined the daily plan of action. I was responsible for over 200 associates daily in a 1.2 million-square-foot facility. I monitored associates for adherence to Nike/Adecco policies and procedures, coached leads to ensure they were providing support to associates, and provided headcount and roster information to the on-site manager at the start of the shift and throughout the day. I verbally coached absent, tardy, or unproductive employees, including attendance and performance counseling. I was also responsible for maintaining the daily volume output of 100k.
  • In the maintenance department, I ensured operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews. I implemented production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and resolved problems. I evaluated the functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by consulting with operating departments, identifying problems, and requirements. I maintained a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
