WORK EXPERIENCE SUMMARY :

As Batch Operator :

• Monitor and handle: Cancelled Mainframe Batch Jobs as per documentation (PROD and NONPROD)

• Console and Batch Monitoring.

· Performing daily activities like checking cycle jobs whether running as per scheduled time. Maintain records & logs of non-scheduled job requests.

· Checking the CICS region jobs for the region availability as per scheduled time. Providing daily support to the users and programming groups

· Performing the analysis of the cause for various job abend’s and taking immediate action for the same. Handling abend by own using SOP document.

· Making on-call to the application support team or contacting the job owner thereby informing the abend with the abend step, abend code and also the error message alerted in job log.

· Cancelling the job either from CA7,ZEKE or Spool as per the requirement.

· Demanding a new job either with triggers or without triggers along with the Event Number.

· Applying temporary JCL override and running the job from override library.

· Monitoring jobs in spool and providing high cpu for critical jobs.

· Performing Initial Program Load (IPL) for mainframe server branches as per the schedule

· Managing escalated issues and Floor Management.

· Coaching and training of team members and generations of KEDB articles for future documentations.

· Worked alone in shift and also as shift lead.
