Rey Diego Gomez is a dynamic theater artist whose multidisciplinary work spans acting, directing, stage combat choreography, and arts education. With a foundation in formal theater training from Columbia College Chicago, Gomez has built a rich portfolio of performances and creative collaborations across both classical and contemporary stages. He has taught movement, stage combat, and devised theater for companies including Circle Players and The Theater Bug, nurturing young and emerging artists through workshops, productions, and mentorship. A passionate advocate for equitable access to the arts, Gomez serves on the Board of Directors for Circle Players, Nashville’s oldest community theater, where he champions inclusive programming and community-driven storytelling. His work is rooted in a deep belief that theater is both a tool for empowerment and a catalyst for cultural dialogue.
