In 2009, I transitioned to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, assuming the role of Consultant and Head of Pediatric Neurology at King Fahad Military Hospital, Jeddah. This esteemed institution boasts a 550-bed capacity and serves as a tertiary care center for the northern region of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

1] Neurology Update conducted by Madras Medical College in 1986 where clinical lectures and CMEs were conducted in neurological disorders. I attended the above course as DM PG student.

2] International Update in Neuro Sciences sponsored by American Association of Physicians of India where lectures and clinical demonstrations as well electrophysiologial work shops were conducted- many Neurologists from Boston Medical School presented clinical papers-my participation was in all CMEs and EEG work shop in 1986.

3] Attended EEG interpretation course conducted by VHS hospital, Madras and subsequently certified for proficiency in EEG interpretation in childhood seizures in 1993.

4] “Neuromuscular disorders – clinical and molecular genetic study”- attended 15 days intensive course in Paris, France and got proficient in diagnosis of muscular disorders in children – certified by the Director of the above course.

5] ‘Botulinium toxin in spasticity’- an intensive practical course conducted in Manchester, UK was attended by me in 2000 where I was trained the methodology of Botox injections in childhood spastic/dystonic disorders [hands on]- awarded first prize in a quiz competition conducted by course director.

6] Attended pediatric advanced life support course in Royal Hospital, Muscat and certified (ALCS) 2001

7] Attended and certified in the basic life support (BLS) at KFAFH, Jeddah in 2010
