Teammate of the Year X2
I won this award twice the first time being in my freshman year, that year I was able to serve as someone to come to even for the older guys on the team if they wanted a work out partner or just someone to help them with shooting or just someone to talk to about the game or in life. My coach was able to see this and named me team mate of the year with everyone on the team being in agreement.
The second time I was able to achieve this award was my senior year, this year was extremely hard for me as I was not eligible to play that season due to me being a transfer too late. During this season I served as someone that was an assistant coach on the floor, I would practice with the team like I was able to play in the games, this helped the coaches and the guys see no matter what minutes you were getting to practice as hard as you can. I was able to help the coaches by letting them know what I saw and encouraging any person on the team that got down on themselves. We were able to go to the state tournament that year as well.
