Lead component development activities for proprietary parts such as.

  • Brake system, steering assembly system (RCB, DEPAS, HPAS, MSL, ESL), suspensions (shock absorbers and leaf spring), steering pump.
  • Work with the design and vehicle integration team to ensure technical feasibility, compliance with regulations, and internal standards.
  • Coordination with suppliers for technical sign-off, commercial synthesis, and development.
  • Development of parts as per the APQP methodology.
  • Budget preparation for part and project.
  • Project management, project material, and deliverables.
  • Tooling cost estimates for prototypes and final toolings.
  • Packaging finalization for part and tool.
  • Supplier upgradation through technical assistance to suppliers, including training, counseling, and guiding.

Material Management and Supply Chain.

  • Own the sourcing strategy for all above-listed proprietary components.
  • Ensure the timely availability of parts for development and production phases (Mule to SOS).
  • Monitor supply capacity, lead times, and material flow to avoid bottlenecks.
