  • As an Armament Systems Journeyman (2W151) my duties were split between two key roles: To use a Mj1A (small forklift) to move munitions and equipment in a timely and safe maner to its designated location. My second role was a tool handler this position taught me to ensure we had all the proper equipment to handle the jobs and task that were handed down to us. This involved organization and proper care for the tools to prevent wear and tear, accountability of the tools, and to help set up and clean the workstations before and after use. The experience gained in both roles enabled me to be a more capable and flexible individual to not only the mission at hand and the unit but in outside life as well. While performing these duties I consistently received training for high stress environments and situations to better adapt to unforeseen circumstances as well as enabling me to stay up to date with any new processes and the handling of new materials.
