  • My responsibilities initially included diagnosing and repairing several types of equipment/machinery. Speaking with manufacturers and troubleshooting electrical issues. I attended multiple manufacturer training classes and became a certified repair technician for Miller Welding equipment.
  • My responsibilities quickly evolved after management determined I am proficient with the rental program (Rentalman/Excel/Outlook). I was receiving and managing all parts coming into the shop. Assisting all technicians with any technical part or software issues. Scheduling technicians with jobs needing to be completed. Ordering and maintaining shop items, including parts to stock, tools needed, office equipment, scheduling shop dumpsters and waste oil. Updating expense reports and managing invoices. Delivering/Traveling with company vehicles to assist management with important needs. Sit in on interviews and ask pertinent questions.
  • Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 w/overtime $5,000 - $10,000

Service Coordinator

  • Service Coordinator duties included the following;
  • Greet customers and write up all needs/concerns for their equipment.
  • Create quotes for customers and go over any/all questions to ensure the customer was informed and cared for.
  • Order needed parts.
  • Perform daily meetings and update excel logs as needed.
  • Take calls for questions regarding shop equipment.
  • Take calls for Field service related machines, plug information into dispatch programs, update customers of timeline changes, dispatch technicians to job sites, order parts if needed, create/bill work orders, acquire needed payment for field service work.
  • Open, update, close PO’s for parts needed in both field service and in a shop environment.
  • Assist technicians with parts diagrams and service procedures needed to complete repairs in a timely/organized manner.
  • Open Work orders for in shop equipment, update labor notes and add parts to work orders, close work orders and take payment as needed.
  • Occasionally update and receive Newly Purchased machines PO’s.
  • Track and dispatch work for all in shop technicians.
  • Order needed shop supplies and shop tools.
  • Assist Technicians with any and all problems needed.
  • Contact outside vendors to assist with manufacturer troubleshooting/service calls.
  • Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 hourly plus occasional monthly bonus

  • As a Service Advisor I was responsible for taking care of my customers. I followed through with them from beginning to end ( check in, bid out jobs, research if needed, bill out, follow up.) Calling vendors, pricing out many different parts and Job estimates.
