  • Utilizes LERMS to assign and track regulatory complaints distributed to district. Assures complaints are investigated and reported accurately prior to approving.
  • Bi-yearly reviews open regulatory complaints for progress.

  • Does not target the same licensee more than once within a 2-year period unless the licensee requires a 90 day recheck or the TABC receives a complaint(s) indicating sales to minors are occurring.

  • Plans Bar Checks within district. Selects the targets for bar checks.
  • Tracks the number of minor compliance check operations, bar checks, and large venue events each Special Agent/Regulatory Officer participates in.
  • Assigns Criminal Complaints to Special Agents and notes the number of criminal cases each Special Agent opens.
  • Assure criminal complaints are thoroughly investigated and reported correctly in LERMS prior to approving criminal case reports.
  • Assures appropriate submission and destruction of evidence in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Reviews, approves, and submits to headquarters Operational Plans prior to any planned enforcement action(s).
