Manage and Lead projects for capital sales of Asphalt Plants and equipment. Be the liaison between sales and the customer and engineering to ensure the accurate and on time completion of the deliverable product. Plan and visit customer sites for measurements and information gathering to ensure accuracy on the product.

Supported and assisted the Research and Development team by improving on design and function of new and upcoming technologies for the company’s current and future tufting machines.

Lead over the machine configuration and conversions groups. Oversee all new machines and conversions from quotation to completion. Lead a small group of 3-4 Mechanical Engineers.

Creating and supporting conversions of any CMC as well as competitors’ machines. Supporting the sales team and customer care with quotations and parts lists for any customer machine. Designing of new parts for parts orders or conversion orders. Support of service and installation teams as well as directly with customer. I sometimes interact directly with customers about machines and other tufting related issues and questions. Plan and visit customers to have a hands on take of potential conversion prior to quotation or order.

Design of machining fixtures for horizontal CNC milling machines. Tufting machine configuration and design for multinational customers. I follow machine projects from order to shipment and support the assembly department, machine shop, and production control from and design and bill of material standpoint once initial design and configuration to customer specifications is complete. I also assist and support machine installation when required.

Design of weldment tooling fixtures in Pro E and lead single man jobs. Oversaw machining of parts and purchasing of parts required per job. Assisted in design of several large multiple person jobs.

Design and detailing of parts and drawings in Pro E software. Communication and support for machine shop and full documentation of all projects. Leadership of Detailing Department when supervisor was not
present.
