Fernando Santos-Venegas

Hello, my name is Fernando Santos-Venegas, and I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in criminal justice at East Tennessee State University, having already earned an associate's degree in criminal justice from Walters State Community College. During my time working as a retail stock associate at Walmart, I developed a strong foundation of transferable skills, including adaptability, collaboration, initiative, decision-making, and professionalism. I adapted quickly to changing store priorities, supported various departments, and worked effectively under pressure, often during understaffed shifts. I consistently demonstrated initiative and sound judgment by identifying operational needs and addressing them independently, all while maintaining respectful communication and a reliable presence on the job. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to apply for this internship position and excited about the possibility of being accepted, as it would be an important step toward my goal of making a positive impact in the field of criminal justice.
