A compassionate dental hygiene student with past dental experience, strong clinical skills, and strength in patient communication. Experienced in patient education, performing assessments, and providing comfort to all patients. Currently completing my dental hygiene education with a focus on patient education, evidence-based practice, and hands-on clinical experience. I am eager to become a dependable dental hygienist who can impact patients' oral care and promote oral health prevention.

Student Dental Hygienist Experience

My experience in dental hygiene school has prepared me to provide high-quality dental care through comprehensive prevention and therapeutic services. I had the opportunity to provide care to diverse populations, such as pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. I gained experience in prophylaxis cleanings, gingival scaling, and non-surgical periodontal therapies. I successfully treated over thirty patients while building stronger relationships and enhancing my communication skills. In addition, I have expanded my knowledge of charting, documentation, and digital radiographs using the Dentrix and Dexis software.
