Work History

Luthier/Head of Body Department

07.2022 - Current
  • Completed an apprenticeship after the first 2 months of employment. Spent time learning in almost all processes including body and neck construction, wet sand and buff, as well as final set-up.
  • Collaborated to create fixtures and new processes within the body department to increase production to 6 guitars per week while maintaining the quality in sound and integrity of the Gallagher brand.
  • Experience designing and running CNC programs for neck/tail blocks, top profiling, rosettes and bracing.
  • Frequently worked on repairs such as re-tops, re-binds and finish touch-ups.
  • Completed another 12-fret Grand Concert style guitar with a frequency tested top and back, as well as hand cut inlay on the fretboard.
