  • I help students, faculty, and staff learn to fix and maintain their bikes.
  • I maintain our shop rental fleet witch consists of commuter, road, and mountain bikes.

Leadership Experience

I have served on the leadership council for 2 different clubs at UTK, the naturalist club and students promoting environmental action in Knoxville(SPEAK). I help plan events that connect students to the local ecosystem. We go on fun and educational hikes that help expand students understanding of their appalachian environment. I am the volunteer coordinator for SPEAK and help coordinate creek clean ups. 

Accomplishments

  • One of my biggest goals going into college was to go car free for all 4 years. 2 years in and I am loving the car free life. I can use my bike or the bus the get basically anywhere in knoxville. I understand Knoxville's mobility flaws in more detail and see ways to improve the city!
  • I am also very close to getting senior bike mechanic status, which means I have almost learned enough to not only preform, but teach, all important mechanic skills.
  • While high school was a few years ago, I am still proud to say that I got all A's even while taking AP and honors classes.
  • I have earned dean's list every semester at UTK


Certification

  • Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate. I passed a computer aided design test that certifies my knowledge of how to use Soildworks 3D modeling software.
