Current cardiovascular stepdown nurse, has the ability to quickly assess and advocate for patients when interventions or additional medications are needed. Developed proficiency in complex wound care, managing patient equipment, and managing IV drips.

Assisted the team with home health care needs. Was given an opportunity to learn about hospice and long term care nursing. I was able to interact closely with patient and family members and help assist with organizing and teaching about medications and other tasks such as ADLs

Provided care to students during summer school classes. I was given the opportunity to function as the school nurse, interacted with children and their parents if there was something they needed help with. I was also able to assist with documentation of full time students records for the upcoming school year.
