Being a CNA was a rewarding time for me. I was always learning new skills that later helped me out in school. The job taught me about having more patience and compassion when it came to my residents and their situations. Working with the elderly was one of the most rewarding times in my life and it is the reason I fell in love with the medical field. Speaking about my experience as a nurse, I have learned so much when it comes to medication administration and how to handle wound care. I have worked with multiple hospice patients and learned how it works.
While in school I received acknowledgements and honors from the National Technical Honors Society for my outstanding grades, for my near perfect attendance, and my willingness to work and achieve.
