The primary objective of performance testing at Bank of Montreal (BMO) is to ensure that all digital banking applications and core banking systems meet the required performance benchmarks under expected and peak load conditions.
This helps maintain system reliability, user experience, and compliance with service-level agreements during high-traffic scenarios.

Roles & Responsibilities: Lead Test Specialist

Collaborated with Business and Application teams to gather and analyze performance testing requirements.

Created traversal flow documentation to outline system behavior and user interactions.

Test execution (Load tests, Stress tests, Endurance tests)

Performed smoke tests to validate script integrity, application stability, and environment readiness; conducted stress tests to identify system breakpoints and load tests to assess performance under peak load.

Generated high-level performance reports based on test results.

Engaged in regular cross-team collaboration to align on testing goals and findings.

Monitored the Server using Dynatrace.

Project 2 - RBS- Royal Bank Of Scotland - (Nov 2021- Oct 2022)

NatWest Group, based in Edinburgh, is a UK banking and insurance company with key subsidiaries like RBS, NatWest, and Coutts. RBS conducts performance testing to ensure the reliability of its digital banking services.The Strategic Account Opening project focuses on launching enhanced online account opening across regions.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead Test Specialist

Requirement gathering from Business and Application team.

Prepared traversal flow documents.

Creating Test Scripts using Silk performer for java application.

Executed load, stress, and endurance tests to assess application behavior under varying conditions.

Executed smoke tests to validate the scripts, application and environment readiness, stress tests to find the break point of the services & load tests to validate the application responsiveness under peak load.

Prepared high-level test reports from the load test results obtained.

Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams throughout the testing cycle.

Monitored server metrics and system health using Grafana.

Project 1 - BOMinFEDE- Ford Technology Services India (Jun 2017- Mar 2018)

This is a Program to integrate all the applications which adapts the Team Centre Data Model. It is a 64 bit Java thick client application and integrated with Java FX feature. The scope of the project is to benchmark the application performance.

This is an intranet application storage repository where the users can upload/download documents. The objective of the project is to performance test the capacity of the system with X number of users.

Scopus, a platform with abstracts and citations from over 23,000 journals, undergoes performance testing to validate application stability for monthly releases (minor and major).Various performance tests were also conducted as part of its cloud migration.

Project 2- Cambridge Assesment - UK (Jan 2015- Jan 2016)

Project 3 - Prudential- OWB Migration to Informatica (Jun 2013 - Dec 2014)

As part of the OWB to Informatica migration and Oracle 11g upgrade, CR Thread1 and Thread2 batch jobs, along with ADA and SOL online applications, were performance tested to validate their behavior before and after migration.ADA primarily serves call center representatives by providing high-level contract information.

Project 4 - Lexis Nexis (Feb 2009- May 2013)

LexisNexis, a global provider of workflow solutions for legal, risk, and government sectors, required performance validation of its applications to ensure SLA compliance for response time and throughput under expected user load. LoadRunner scripts were developed and executed to measure the performance and response time of key functionalities through load testing.
