Began employment as an Operations Technician 1 completing daily maintenance jobs such as pot hole patching, and lane closures on interstate and state routes.

I became an Operations Technician 2 shortly after employment. I played a big role in repairing sink holes and slides, and I led crews out repairing cracks and breakage on Interstate 640. Led crews for daily maintenance tasks.

Previously supervised crews in the Knox County maintenance department from May 2017 to when I became supervisor over the Union County maintenance department in 2021. Since becoming supervisor in Union County, I have kept the same employees with zero accidents.

Oversee the day to day functions of the Union county maintenance department.

Develop maintenance schedules on a weekly basis.

Input and approve time for employees.

Participate as an Instructor for the ProPath course developed during EPIC.

Operate equipment such as the loader, dump truck, back hoe, mini and standard size excavators, sweeper, mastic machine, skid steer, patch truck, roller, milling machine, paver, slope mowers, and the road grader during snow events.

Haul large equipment on the low boy trailer for events or needed jobs.

Act as a covering supervisor for other counties when needed in the event a supervisor is out.

Create and maintain a working schedule for the employees during snow events to include coverage in other counties when needed as well as restocking needed supplies.
