Diagnosed and resolved issues in farm and construction equipment through maintenance, troubleshooting, and rebuilding efforts, focusing on diesel engines, diverse transmission types, front and rear differentials, and hydraulic and electrical systems.

Performed routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on farm and construction equipment as well as small engine equipment. I mainly focused on troubleshooting and repairing or rebuilding mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on large tractors and combines to ensure they ran to manufacturers specifications. I performed alignments on the rotor cvt clutches as well as the rotor gearboxes to ensure they ran within spec for optimal performance during harvesting.

Performed routine and critical lift operations as both a crane operator and rigger/signalman, performed maintenance and repairs on friction cranes involving pneumatic and mechanical components that required proper clearances and alignment to function properly and safely. Performed troubleshooting on various types of pumping equipment and valving. Worked with outside machinists to remove engines, gearboxes, shafts, wheels, rudders and generators from tugboats and performed alignments when reinstalling them into the boats. Performed blue fitting of couplers and wheels onto engine, gearbox and propeller shafts. installed and aligned electric motors to various types of pumps on the vessels. Was tasked with measuring hull bores for shaft bearings, measuring shafts for liners and measuring shaft liners for fitment to shafts.

Operated, maintained and repaired multiple different types of cranes including friction and hydraulic. Performed maintenance and various levels of repairs on crew boats and small tugs including engine, gearbox and pump rebuilds. Was the lead employee in charge of overseeing the disassembling and loading of equipment for transport between contract sites as well as reassembling the equipment once it was on site.

Oversaw the maintenance and repairs of various types of material handling, power generating and fluid transfer equipment. Diagnosed both AC and DC electrical systems and performed necessary repairs or component replacement. Performed fabrication and welding tasks as needed to complete repairs or build new equipment.

Maintained, repaired and rebuilt engines, transmissions, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, DC electrical systems, hydraulic systems and components. measured pins, bushings, bearings, shafts, gears and sprockets to check for wear and for the machining of new parts as needed. Performed fitting and welding to complete repairs or make new parts.
