• Organize, load, and transport sculptures and installations to each event.
• Set up and break down sculptures and power for each event.
• Repair and change installations and sculptures as needed (basic electrical work, reposition and secure structures, replace power cables, and installation lights).
• Be on call and communicate with event host to have show start and end at appropriate times and address any changes needed for the show and problem solve any issue during the show.
• Help with day-to- day garden planning, seed starting, planting, building and maintaining row crops, garden beds, harvesting, and weighing food.
• Provide garden maintenance, such as watering, weeding, soil and pest monitoring, and general site clean-up.
• Harvest, wash/pack, and delivery according to USDA GAP policy.
• Participate in seed collection, propagation, and ecological restoration.
• Participate in garden volunteer trainings and orientations.
• Serve as a resource for garden participants and volunteers who may be new to gardening.
• Maintain and grow positive relationships between the garden and employees and visitors of the St Jude Garden.
• Assist with special events that occur in the St. Jude Garden and at Memphis Tilth.
• Effectively communicate to others the mission and goals of Memphis Tilth and the St Jude Garden's program and activities.
• Adhere to all Memphis Tilth and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s policies and procedures.
