Security Operations Unit (April 2023- Current)

-Gather large amounts of intelligence from various outlets throughout the facility and county to create a vibrant picture of current climate and tensions within the Jail. Respond to and assists with investigations that includes assaults, homicides, rapes, thefts, sexual assaults & destruction of property.

-Engage in comprehensive investigations and validations of gang members utilizing specialized knowledge and training.

-Collaborate effectively with the Criminal Investigation Division (CID), the Narcotics Unit, and other relevant local agencies on pertinent matters.

PREA Coordinator (July 2023- Current)

-Conduct inquires into incidents of sexual assault occurring within the Hamilton County jail and detention facility, and prepare detailed reports to support criminal charges.

-Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a reporting program in accordance with Prison Rape Elimination Act; serves as the Administration Department’s point of contact for all PREA issues; ensures compliance with applicable federal mandates; responsible for maintaining current knowledge of all applicable standards and Departmental policies and procedures relating to PREA standards; monitoring Office PREA standards and compliance strategy; and perform related duties.
