I've been in the restaurant business since I was 16. My first job was as a pizza cook at Garibaldis. I was an expo, then a host, and then a server at TGIFridays in Cordova. I then became a delivery driver at Steak-Out for a year before returning to serving and then bartending at On The Border in Cordova. After three years at On The Border I decided that I wanted to work downtown. I was hired at TJ Mulligans in the Pinch in 2001 and worked there for a year before getting hired as a bartender at Hueys downtown. I also opened Alchemy and worked at both Hueys and Alchemy until 2014. I'm still at Hueys now but I am ready for my next step in the restaurant industry.
Tending bar and making all alcoholic beverages. I also answered the phone and took all togo orders. I was responsible for all glassware in the restaurant via the two dish machines behind the bar. They were kept clean and in working order throughout my shift. Running food to tables was a priority.
I served at TJ Mulligans for 1 year before going to Hueys.
