Responsibilities:

Global Delivery Engagement:

• Instrumental in setting up CIB Finance FP&A team for International in 2022 and took over US FP&A team in 2025
• Achieved Strategic goal of re-aligning the team from Regional model (APAC & EMEA) to International model in 2023/24
• Leading the Business change team supporting various functions across International region
• Finalize and sign off Forecast and Budget data for CIB I&P business working with Head of CIB Business, I&P

Transformation Initiatives:

• Achieved 4 FTE saves in 2024 & 2025 by way of report rationalization and automation initiatives, new work absorbed without adding Headcount
• ~50% reduction in report inventory by way of retiring non value add reports and ownership transfer
• Partnered with Finance Transformation Office towards clean up of report inventory for India CIB Finance.
• Streamlined the inventory by introducing report categorizations (Report, Sub-report & process)

Risk & Control:

• Operating with a risk & control mindset helped avoid operational risk occurrences in the team
• Helped set up the new Global Delivery activity (SLA) document for India CIB Finance working with Global Solution Program Office in US
• Review of BCP plans at regular intervals with Central BCP team
• Ensured all processes covering India CIB Finance have the necessary controls as per guidance from the RCSA committee
• Monthly Governance meeting with CFO - US and International

People & wider Finance initiatives:

• Formulated New Joiner Finance Induction program in 2022 - one day session covering overview of all functions within Finance
• Built a highly engaged team - overall engagement scores of >95% for the years 2022 to 2024 (Global Employee Survey)
• Part of People Empowerment Pillar supporting social activities for I&P Finance (IWD celebrations, Employee Appreciation Week,etc)

• Barclays Head Office Controller Reporting (UK)- Oct 18 to Dec 21
• Instrumental in setting up the Monthly Financial reporting process
• Review and sign off monthly Financial with onshore CFO
• Process revamp/efficiencies in P&L reporting contributing to 1 FTE save

• Quarterly consolidation and finalization of L&A notes for Banks and Customers including commentary for business movements forming part of Result Announcement and Annual Report (Notes to Financial Statement section)
• Consolidation and finalization of L&A Credit Risk disclosures including commentary namely Problem Loans (Analysis of loans past due not impaired and age analysis of Impaired loans) and Credit quality (Strong, satisfactory and higher risk) forming part of the Annual Report
