• Founded a food and beverage tech start-up with a vision to build a sustainable, all-natural, and healthy bakery food ecosystem—millet-based breads and confectioneries, sweetened by palm or coconut sugar, with no additives.
• Built a brand, contracted a facility, installed a new baking production line and retail shop from scratch, equipped with the capacity to produce up to 600 SKU FG, and managed pricing, P&L, sales, distribution, and customer service with the help of a team of nine members.

• Headed engine commodities strategic sourcing programs, and supply risk - $450 million per year, 40 suppliers, and 3% annual CR.
• Chaired Global Valve Train Systems sourcing for $500 million spend, reduced global cost gap by 25% through VSM.
• Executed supplier technology reviews along with PD, contracted brand-new VDE technology for global sub-2L gas engines, and optimized supplier manufacturing footprint from 4 to 2 by using a data analytics tool that yielded $18M in savings.
• Represented APAC supply capability in a global forum, sourced 10+ commodities for global exports, with 30% savings.

Q2 2011 to Q1 2016: Indirect Purchasing (Manufacturing, Logistics, Capex, and Services)

• Led 12 APAC markets in manufacturing, aftersales, PD inbound and outbound logistics services, outsourcing and contracting - air, ocean containers, and RORO, milk run, 3PL/4PL, packaging, PMHV, customs, warehousing - $450 million, 50+ carriers.
• Crafted APA Air & Ocean Freight Business Plan aligned to ONE Ford strategy that consolidated 12 markets demand, standardized the processes, optimized the supply base, reflected market economics in pricing, reduced costs by 20%.

Q1 2008 to Q1 2011: Senior Buyer - Chassis and Powertrain Procurement.

• Managed Commodities - Tires, Air Intake, Fuel System, Filters, Suspension, Cooling – Annual buy of $40 million.
• Coordinated the Puma diesel engine new program purchasing operations, and distressed Australia supplier risk mitigation project.

• Managed INR 100 crore sourcing of body exterior and interior (stampings, plastics, and rubber injection molding), predicted market economics for annual price review, executed tire logistics route optimization idea, and achieved Rs 200 per car CR.
• Executed Daihatsu Small Car Program Purchasing Planning - Direct/Capital/Logistics Strategy, SE/SPTT/HVPT master scheduling, Target Cost Planning, CFT engagement for project delivery -, proposed VE ideas for Rs150/car savings.

• Supervised a team of over 10 members for 75 SKU components, RM MRP, ordering, inventory, production planning and control, supply chain KPI monitoring, SAP R/3 MM entries and control, and supplier invoice processing.
• Coordinated the SAP R/3 MM module implementation and implemented a 2-bin Kanban inventory system.
