I speak, write and read in Spanish, my first language and English.

  • I am from Cuba and graduated nursing school in 1992 and I was licensed then. I also received license in Argentina, because I lived there for 20 years. I decided to do Nursing (LPN) program because after 8 years without practicing the profession, faced with the challenges of technological changes and the language barrier, it would be very difficult for me not only to pass the NCLEX test, but also to adapt to the new health system in this Country. That is why I began to study everything again, convinced that | would improve my English and nursing skills and thus be able to have not only more self-confidence, but also to be a nurse worthy of practicing my profession in the United States of America. I love my profession. I love my profession is that why, I have decided three times to become a nurse in three different countries, with the same enthusiasm and responsibility as 30 years ago.
  • Since the Hispanic community is constantly growing in the United States, I consider that knowing that language would be very useful to help Spanic community people. Having both languages would be of vital importance to help both sides.
  • My many years of experience and my cultural diversity can provide interesting help to the health care team.
  • I have known how to be a leader, as well as a follower, respect hierarchies and adapt easily to my work environment, with attitude and aptitude.
  • I am kind, responsible and respectful. These characteristics have opened many doors in my life, and I am sure that you will also know how to recognize these qualities in me.
Thank you very much for the opportunity.
