As a carhop I had to know how to count money quickly and efficiently. Providing good customer service while taking orders out to vehicles was a must. I also made drinks and ice cream. Sometimes I would have to wear a headset and take customers' orders.
While working at Tjmaxx I had multiple job titles.
Whenever I was a cashier knowing how to do math and count money quickly was a must. I also had to know how to kindly interact with customers, but that comes easy. Lastly, whenever I would be on the register I would have to suggest people sign up for a credit card.
Working in the fitting room and on the floor is much different than working the register. On the floor I would have to walk around and ask shoppers if they needed any help, and I would have to fold and hang up clothes. As for working the fitting room, I would stand there and smile as people past, and when someone needed to try items on I would have to count them and point them in the right direction.
During my time at Papa Murphy's I had to have good customer service skills. I interacted and had conversations with numerous people daily. I had to follow customers' specific requests for their pizzas, and then I would check them out on the register. At the end of the night I would mop, clean up, and do dishes.
