Gas sensor characterization machine, design and control

• Analyzed chemiresistive NO₂ sensor data (response time, recovery time, sensitivity across 100–250 °C and 11.3–80 ppm) to provide insights for a scientific journal article.
• Built the LabVIEW interface that mixes gases at target concentrations and flow rates, controls sample temperature and reads resistance through a Keithley source-meter.

Designed the full machine in SolidWorks: aluminum frame, gas routing, mass flow controllers, solenoid valves and a complete electrical cabinet.

• Automated gas mixing and data archiving system (NO₂, NH₃, CO, N₂)

• Scoped and quoted LabVIEW-driven automation system with data logging, facilitating streamlined data management.

• Programmed RS485/Modbus control of an 8-channel relay module and an Omron temperature controller over VISA Serial: relay switching, temperature reading and setpoint control.
