Role: Product & Engineering Operations Leader, Program Management || Product: All products at Freshworks

• Leading cross-functional operations and streamlining processes across product development organization, while driving strategic priorities for CPO & CTO leadership teams

• Driving strategic priorities for business unit head for various initiatives like OKRs, QORs and time boxed strategic initiatives like Disaster recovery drill, framework for dependency management etc.
• Collaborated with department heads across Cloud Engineering, GRC, Security, and IT operations to develop impactful objectives and quantifiable results, enhancing strategic focus and performance tracking.
• Metrics Driven Culture across Technology team by helping leaders define, refine metrics and giving periodic feedback.
• Successfully led the agile transformation of seven squads within the product and cloud engineering teams, employing a hybrid model crafted to address specific operational challenges and streamline their workflows.
• Streamlined and strengthened the working relationship of Product engineering <> Cloud Engineering teams

• Orchestrated Chargebee's 2022 disaster recovery drill, coordinating across multiple teams to bolster organizational resilience.

• Conducted process evaluation and identified areas for improvement, initiating streamlined measures to enhance efficiency.
• Defined and operationalised process end to end flow from product ideation to deployment in various rollouts along with leadership & key stakeholders from product development, data sciences and customer success teams. Ensured constant monitoring for improvements.
• Coached 50+ people on the process across different teams (Existing employees and new joiners) which helped adoption faster.

Key Highlights:

• Adhoc requests (Unplanned requests during an ongoing sprint) brought to less than 5% by bringing in process and tools for effective planning and prioritisation which increased efficiency and throughput.
• Teams are self-organised/ on process auto-pilot (Coach is only an observer in sprint planning, daily scrum and other scrum events). This was done for 4 teams in a span of a year or so.
