Makena Watkins

Hello! My name is Makena Watkins and I currently attend East Tennessee State University with plans to graduate in December of 2026. I am majoring in Media Çommunications with a double minor in sports media and digital marketing. I have always had a passion to work in sports but really fell in love with social media and content creator during my college years. I have experience as a Social Media Marketing Director with a proven track record at Jenny Lea Cosmetology School, Christ Fellowship church and most importantly, ETSU Athletics, specializing in audience engagement and brand strategy. Expert in video production and content scheduling, I successfully enhanced brand visibility and interaction through innovative multimedia campaigns, driving significant growth in audience reach and engagement metrics. I love showcasing who teams are not only on the field and court, but off. I am flexible of where I want to work/work for, and I am truly open to any door that gets me good experience. I ama hard worker and put my mind to anything put in front of me. Social media can be a tricky business but I am not afraid to try new things!
