As a Deputy Sheriff, my primary responsibility is to protect life and property, enforce local, state, and federal laws, and maintain public order within the county. On daily patrol, I proactively deter crime, respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, conduct initial crime investigations, and enforce traffic laws to ensure roadway safety. Beyond enforcement, I serve as a vital link between the Sheriff's Office and the community, utilizing de-escalation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills to manage high-stress incidents safely and build public trust.
