  • Operated various types of equipment, in all three major areas of the pilot plant. Certified on all of the polymer units with close to 10 years of experience, as well as Unit EM and Unit JN. Qualified on all of Building 66 Cellulose Esters piloting equipment, as well as AC dryer, and Unit 3 when running.
  • Maintained a safe working environment by enforcing strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Lead various Task Safety Audits, safety meetings, and LOTO audits across the pilot plant.
  • Gave feedback during procedure and batch sheet reviews to ensure processes were run as safely and efficiently as possible.
  • Ran lab equipment during process runs in both polymers and cellulose esters piloting areas.
  • Worked on numerous different projects in the polymers piloting area. Some of which include Easy Open Ends, the MP series of coatings and resins, Project Black Bear, and Project Snow Pea.
  • Worked on CGMP processes on Unit JN, Unit EM, and the Microbeads project in Cellulose Esters piloting.
  • Assisted in the commissioning of the Methanolysis plant from October of 2023 to February of 2024. Also assisted in the commissioning of a smaller scale polymers piloting facility in Building 566.
  • Trained several operators to certification in the polymers piloting facility. Began training other operators, who were moved to separate crews or other jobs before certification was finished.
  • Utilized P&ID's as well as 3D models to locate various pieces of equipment, piping, and valves to help with commissioning processes.
  • Worked in Final Wash process in Building 120 as entry level job.
  • Experience with various types of extrusion methods in different circumstances in polymers piloting.
