Respiratory therapists at West Meade Place possess in-depth knowledge of respiratory physiology, pathology, and treatment modalities.

Operating and maintaining a wide range of respiratory equipment, including ventilators, pulmonary hygiene devices, and high-flow heated humidification systems.

Patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing respiratory care and monitoring

Managing patients who are being weaned from mechanical ventilation and those who require long-term mechanical ventilation

Performing respiratory procedures such as intubation, suctioning, and administering aerosol medications
