• I ran a CNC thread grinder, which puts threads on a steal plug.
• I have to hold tolerances in the millionths, depending on what the customer orders.
• I have to run different size plugs, different thread pitch, and different types of threads.

• Adjusted machine feed and speed, changed cutting tools, or adjusted machine controls when automatic programming was faulty or if machines malfunctioned.

• Changed worn cutting tools as needed during operation.

I was in charge of a process called Leach.

The leach process of making zinc is where you take calcine and use acid and different tanks to separate the zinc from other materials.

• Performed routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitored and adjusted machine operations as needed for quality assurance.
• Managed multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Maintained cleanliness of work area and equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Maintained records relating to product output numbers, scrap rate analysis, downtime reports.
• Checked control panel and gauges during equipment operation.
• Hand-assembled needed parts with bolts and screws.

My job was to take samples and check the Ph levels in the tanks.

I was in charge of all my maintenance, which consisted of taking pipe apart and cleaning it, cleaning the inside of tanks, helping put in new pumps, and doing odd and end jobs.

I also had to operate a loader and fork lift.

• Transported materials from one site to another using off-road vehicles.
• Managed daily operations of heavy equipment fleet, including troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Operated multiple pieces of heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to excavate land for construction projects.
